چکیده

Abstract We present a three-dimensional (3D) general-measure inversion scheme of crosswell electromagnetic (EM) data in the frequency domain with direct forward solver. In problem, we discretised EM Helmholtz equation by staggered-grid finite difference (SGFD) and solved it using Intel MKL PARDISO By applying solver, simultaneously multisource problems at given frequency. inversion, integrated general measure misfit model constraints linearised least-squares inversion. reconstructed blocky features selecting appropriate parameters constraints. used adjoint method to explicitly calculate Jacobian matrix, which facilitated determination an initial value for regularisation coefficient objective function. illustrated synthetic measure, L2 norm, and, specifically, two mixed norms.

Full waveform inversion of crosswell seismic data using automatic differentiation

Full waveform inversion (FWI) is an effective and efficient data-fitting technique that has been widely used to produce accurate estimation of model parameters in Geophysics. The efficiency and accuracy of FWI are determined by the three main components: numerical solution for forward problem, gradient calculation and model update which usually involves the optimization method. The success of t...

3D Inversion of Magnetic Data through Wavelet based Regularization Method

This study deals with the 3D recovering of magnetic susceptibility model by incorporating the sparsity-based constraints in the inversion algorithm. For this purpose, the area under prospect was divided into a large number of rectangular prisms in a mesh with unknown susceptibilities. Tikhonov cost functions with two sparsity functions were used to recover the smooth parts as well as the sharp ...

A new stochastic 3D seismic inversion using direct sequential simulation and co-simulation in a genetic algorithm framework

Stochastic seismic inversion is a family of inversion algorithms in which the inverse solution was carried out using geostatistical simulation. In this work, a new 3D stochastic seismic inversion was developed in the MATLAB programming software. The proposed inversion algorithm is an iterative procedure that uses the principle of cross-over genetic algorithms as the global optimization techniqu...

Inverse modeling of HEM data using a new inversion algorithm

Helicopter-borne frequency-domain electromagnetic (HEM) surveys are used extensively for mineral and groundwater exploration and a number of environmental investigations. To have a meaningful interpretation of the measured multi- frequency HEM data, in addition to the resistivity maps which are provided in each frequency or for some particular depth levels, it is a necessity ...
